Quote from Nadia Bolz-Weber’s book
Pastrix: the Cranky, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner and Saint. (Jericho: 2013) p 57.
In light of our ever divisive and polarizing world, where lines are drawn and sides are taken, author and Lutheran minister Nadia Bolz-Webber reminds me (as her husband Mathew reminded her) that Jesus is always in our midst. And he’s standing on both sides of the conflict. Loving and cringing all the same. So who are we to point fingers? Instead let’s search for peace and reconciliation in a field of thorns and war.
