A Word Or Two On Love
“A word of love can be the greatest act of love. That is because when our words become flesh in our own lives and the lives of others, we can change the world.” - Henri Nouwen
Jesus is the word made flesh. In him speaking and acting were one. Our life goal is to not just be the word of Christ in the world but to also see it and recognize it in others. Through both of these actions we can find greater love - one that transcends beyond our definitions and transforms us beyond the world as we know it.
What then might this mean to you and the command to love the stranger, the foreigner, or simply a neighbor?
Your words matter.
