What are we to do when the way of the world is no longer sufficient to define who we are?
Recently I have been meeting random people on my walks with my dog Cali. Dogs can be both a good offense as well as defense to people. Today was Karen, who helped me see how the people I meet all seem to share something in common. Later, at home, I opened Facebook and saw this quote from C.S. Lewis that I had posted three years ago. And it seemed to speak to this common theme (or really desire) of needing something more out of life.
